Stay In Your Place Captures Dover Feature

Stay In Your Place completed a double for driver Montrell Teague, trainer Clyde Francis and owner George Teague scoring a 1:54.2 victory in today's feature race at Dover Downs. Corey Callahan won three of the first four races and finished with four trips to the winner’s circle.

In his first start of his three-year-old season, Stay In Your Place, also owned by K&R Racing, who also were co-owners of the outstanding Rainbow Blue, took the lead early and never looked back posting an easy 1:54.2 successfully sophomore debut.

Earlier Montrell Teague guided George Teague’s Aint No Fun to his first win in his initial start of the year. The homebred gelding bred by Teague and Ted Gewertz, a son of Custard The Dragon - Airtight, bested Ascaryone Hanover (Eddie Dennis) and Casino Director (Vince Copeland) second and third respectively.

Tony Morgan also drove two winners. Barbara’s Shadow seeks a fourth consecutive win in the $15,000 Mares pace, the Tuesday feature race.
