Eyewitness Account (Camluck) won her first local feature on Sunday afternoon at Saratoga Casino and Raceway as Wally Hennessey pointed the mare to the lead and never looked back.
Dont Blame Her (Joe Bongiorno) came up second best in Sunday afternoon’s $18,500 feature for distaff pacers as Eyewitness Account was just too much on the front-end. Miss Maverick (Jim Devaux) earned the show spot.
The matinee’s feature went in 1:53 to match the lifetime mark for the Dan Hennessey-trained mare, who withstood an opening quarter of :27.2 before drawing away late to win by open lengths.
