Le Fugueaur won the feature event Thursday night at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The time of the mile was 1:59.2 over a track rated as good with a two second variant after heavy rain early in the day.
Mike Stevenson used rail control to his advantage when he sent the Jennifer
Trainer owned pacer to the front to win in gate to wire fashion holding off
a late charging Last Art on Deck for second with War Cry Ranger finishing
third. Darren Trainer is the winning trainer.
It was Stevenson's fourth winner of the night. Stevenson and Metro Building
Supplies have team up to raise money for Camp Gencheff in the Drive for
Charity Event.
Brodie MacPhee and Gary Chappell had driving doubles on the night. MacPhee
guided Anita Blossom to victory in the evening's Trot class.
