“The OHHA is looking at all legal options. A class-action lawsuit is definitely something our lawyers are looking at,” said Brian Tropea, General Manager of the Ontario Harness Horse Association in a story in the Barrie Examiner.
“It’s terrible. (The government) should be happy with the money they’ve had. Now they’re putting 50,000 people out of work who will have to collect welfare. They don’t know anything but horse racing,” said long time horse owner Tony Tangereda in the same story.
