Rick Zeron is making a return trip to Scandinavia.
In 2006 the Oakville, Ontario horseman made the trek to Sweden to race Snazzy Millie in the Elitlopp. In short order he will be returning via Norway to race in the Oslo Grand Prix and then the Elitlopp in Sweden with Windsong Geant. There is also the possibility of the Copenhagen Cup in early June.
The five-year-old Windsong Geant is a son of Kadabra and appears to be a horse steadily on the improve. He is approaching $400,000 in earnings and was a gallant third in the Glorys Comet final at Woodbine Racetrack.
In today's edition of Harness Central, Zeron explains why the invitation to make the trip to Europe was accepted and how he feels about the challenges facing the horse.
