Last Saturday the Toronto Star carried an excellent feature on the state of horse racing in the province since the Liberal party's decision to stop the racetracks at slots program.
Hall of fame horseman Bill O'Donnell is one of many people interviewed for the story by Jim Coyle including veterinarian Dr. John Hennessey, trainers Jeff Gillis and Ben Baillargeon, Henrietta Kingshot and Jim Carr.
The story, which didn't make it into all editions of the weekend Star, was reprinted in the Guelph Mercury and may be read here.
