Thisbigdogwilfight Remains Perfect In 2010
May 15

Thisbigdogwilfight remained the king of the free-for-all handicap pacing group at Balmoral Park this year by winning this week's $10,000 test in 1:51.2 at the Crete, Illinois, track.

Driver John De Long sent Thisbigdogwilfight from third to first past the :28.1 opening quarter, and Thisbigdogwilfight would touch down on the lead at the :55.4 half-mile marker.

From that point, Thisbigdogwilfight paced through three-quarters in 1:24.1 before closing with a :27.1 final quarter to seal the victory by two and a quarter lengths. Delightful Five (Todd Warren) had some late step to get up for second and Fort Silky (Marcus Miller) finished in third.

James Eaton trains Thisbigdogwilfight, a seven-year-old gelded son of The Big Dog, for owners Redbud Stable and Michael McNeely. Thisbigdogwilfight has now won all five of his 2010 starts and he now has 40 career victories. He has now put away $26,448 this season and $787,650 in his lifetime.
