This evening Italian trotting media are announcing the sale of top trotting sire S Js Photo to Italian investors by the syndicate based at Lindwood Farm in Pennsylvania.
The 16 year-old stallion will arrive in Italy at the beginning of October to stand at a farm called Azienda Agricola Mariano where he will join Atas Fighter L and Malabar Circle As among others.
He will replace Lemon Dra who was reported abducted earlier in the year but most insiders believe the stallion had to be retired from stud duty due to poor health.
Among S Js Photo's most notable performers are last year’s Hambletonian winner Vivid Photo, a winner of $1.8 million, as well as other millionaires Classic Photo, Pegasus Spur and S Js Caviar. S Js Photo earned $1.3 million during his racing career. The son of Photo Maker took a life mark of 1:53.
The farm Azienda Agricola Mariano is located in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy at the foot of the Apennines mountains in one of the most picturesque parts of Italy.
