Shaky Start To Flamboro Card
Nov 21

Bill Davis Jr. was forced to book off the rest of his drives on tonight’s card at Flamboro Downs after being dumped out of his sulky and hitting the track hard in the first race.

The race saw Doug McNair’s charge Scampi Freeluck make a dirty break at the three-quarter pole. Although the horse didn’t go down, her miscue caused confusion in the horses behind with Davis Jr. taking the worst of it. He was taken off the track in the ambulance.

Track officials weren’t certain of his status when contacted and we’ll provide an update on his condition once it is provided. Davis’s horse, Tr Meadow Blossom and Robert Shepherd’s mount, Tegan Seelster, did not finish but were uninjured.
